Supergirl is a better movie than Once Upon a Time in America, Amadeus, Nightmare on Elm Street, Temple of Doom, Dune, The Killing Fields, The Natural, Paris Texas and The Karate Kid (and in some ways, Ghostbusters, 16 Candles, Police Academy and the Gremlins) huh? Okay. Certainly a good year for cinema. Seemingly not for all the best reasons.
